First, cannabis should be legalized since it has a lot of unique medical uses, and its legalization provides another avenue of medicine and improves health service standards overall. Commonly, cannabis is prescribed to help with chronic pain. Restricting the use of cannabis would be a huge and unnecessary disadvantage to people who are suffering from the diseases that could use cannabis as treatment. For example, cannabis has been used as an alternative to more conventional medicines in the case of multiple sclerosis patients, and it has been proven to be very useful and effective. Also, the drug is known to help those undergoing chemotherapy treatment. This essential cancer therapy damages patient s bodies and causes extreme vomiting, weakness, and weakened immune systems. On the other hand, some people who argue that cannabis should not be legalized argue that cannabis is more lethal to the human body than alcohol, which is legal. This is demonstrably false. Obviously, cigarettes and alcohol are harmful to humans, causing lung cancer, liver failure, brain damage, and other ailments. The proponents of legalization of cannabis argue that cannabis is already being used all over the world and less deaths can be attributed to it compared to other drugs. Rarely, if ever, has a death been attributed to cannabis use. The reality is that no human has ever died from marijuana overdose. He stated that to get ready for this character he had to â€Å"work out twice a day, seven days a week, and he had to loss weight† (IMDB). Sometime actors had to change their appearance to fit the character they got to play. The actors are very important to the movie world. When the movie first came on   it told the story about   Micheal Oher. This allowed the audience to know about the role the character (Quinton Aaron) played. It was on a football field and the point the director wanted the audience focus on was light and the background was dark. When the narrator wanted the audience to focus on a scene the scene stopped while the narrator talked about the scene. This movie had sounds that would show the sadden and the happy point of it. This was very important in this movie. If the sound be off key, then the movie would not get it point across. They did a good job with the sound and music in this film. In Harriet Jacobs Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl, her commitment to her children and her desperation for freedom drastically changed her life choices. Instead of escaping on her own, Harriet Jacobs had her childrens freedom to think about. Jacobs had a near death experience after the birth of her daughter Ellen, and her life was spared: and [she] was glad for sake of [her] little ones(488). She did not care about her well-being as long as her children were safe. Her hardships with living with her master, Dry. Flint, sparked her desire for freedom as well. Harriet Jacobs was a strong woman whose motive to shape a path towards freedom was intensified by her children. Born into slavery, Harriet Jacobs spent her early year with her mother and father, but after her mothers death she was sent to live and work at her mothers masters house. Luckily, this master treated her well and even taught her how to read and write. To prevent Dry. Flint from getting his way, Harriet Jacobs had an affair with a white neighbor, Mr..Sands. Not only would this stop Dry. Flint from constantly tormenting her, it could possibly cause him to sell her to his neighbor in disgust. Being a female slave, Heartthrobs had to live through countless encounters where she was mentally and physically tortured by Dry. Flint, such as sexual harassment, which proved to be an additional struggle in her pursuit of freedom. When Jacobs found out the gender of her second heart was heavier than it had ever been before(488). She knew that when her baby girl, Ellen, grows older, she would bear the burden of slavery.Harriet Jacobs only pooped that what she had to go through being a female slave would never happen to any of her children. To prevent that for happening again, Harriet Jacobs created a plan to escape with her children. Knowing that it would be impossible to escape with two small children, Jacobs hid in the attic in her grandmothers house. Since Dry. Aunt was under the impression that she had fled to the North, Harriet Jacobs had high hopes that he would sell her children to a slave trader named Mr. . Sands since is the father of her children and promised her that he would ensure their freedom.To keep her family safe, Harriet Jacobs watched her children through small cracks in the wall of the small, empty crawl space in the attic.
